- Suluban Beach of Uluwatu
It is an isolated beach that remains largely untouched and is one of the best best places to photograph in Bali. Most who make it here are surfers trying to catch good waves on the pearlescent turquoise seas. Bring along your swimmers for a dip in the clear waters amongst the reefs. The walk to the beach passes through some limestone caves, which are great photo spots too! Be there at about 4:30PM – 5:30PM for the best natural light just before the sun sets.
- Rice Fields of Ubud
Ubud has many rice fields, if you’re short on time to visit the larger plantations like Tagallalang and Jatiluwih, you can still get your rice paddy shots by stopping by a plantation near you. These fields are typically free to visit, but do be careful not to destroy any crops along the way. We visited a paddy field that was just a 10-minute stroll from our villa and got some pretty decent shots against the rising sun.
- Nusa Penida
An hour’s ferry ride away from mainland Bali is an island known for her stunning beaches and cliff rocks — Nusa Penida. Do dedicate a day to Nusa Penida the next time you visit Bali, the stunning natural rock formations did truly take my breath away when I was there. An arch-like rock formation is the landmark of Broken Beach and is one of the best beaches in Bali for honeymoon It’s at the hilly area where you’ll get the views of the turquoise seas that lead to the open Indian Ocean.
- Tanah lot temple
It is definitely one of the most scenic places in Bali! Visit Tanah Lot temple a little before the sunset and find a nearby café that overlooks the temple for some stunning photos! Doesn’t the ocean backdrop look stunning?

- Tibumana Waterfall
This waterfall is in Bangli area and not so far from the Bamboo forest in point 3. Getting here is not as difficult as Banyumala Waterfalls. The trail that leads to the waterfall is small and is a delight in itself. Everywhere around is jungle and you will hear the sounds of birds. Tibumana waterfall itself is small but it is the green area around that makes it very special.
- Ku-De-Ta Lounge and Around
Ku-De-Ta is one of the most famous bars in Bali. The view of the ocean from here is breathtaking, especially around the sunset time. There is a swimming pool inside Ku-De-Ta, which looks very beautiful when the sky turns orange before it gets dark. Not just the bar, but even the beach right outside this place gave us many photo opportunities. Ku de Ta during the months of August is dreamy since it is the best month to visit Bali for a honeymoon.
